TIMBERCOAT POLYURETHANE LACQUER

Scope:

Timbercoat Polyurethane Lacquer is a single pack product. It gives a high gloss and is suitable for protection and decor on exterior and interior wooden doors, windows and allied items.

Application:

Can either be sprayed or applied with pad over wood or wooden surface. For the first coat, dilute up to 25% with Timbercoat Thinner for good penetration. For a good glossy finish apply 2-3 coats.

Coverage:

10 – 12 m2 per litre per coat.

It is available in 0.91 & 3.64 litres.

TIMBERCOAT SANDING SEALER

Scope:

Timbercoat Sanding Sealer is a semi-gloss transparent type high-build sealer that seals small fine wood pores. It is designed for use on production for furniture industry.

Application:

Thin 1:1 by volume with Thinner. Thin multi-coats are recommended instead of one thick coat. It can be over-coated with Wood Lacquer, Acid Catalysed Matt Lacquer or Polyurethane Lacquer.

Coverage:

10-12 m2 per litre per coat.

Packaging:

It is available in 0.91 & 3.64 litres.

WATERBASED PRIMER

Scope:

Berger Water Based Primer is formulated to resist alkali and moisture present in the new plaster surfaces. It forms a tough and flexible film which prevents passage of moisture from the substrate through the paint film. Before the application of Berger Water Based Primer, it is essential that the surface to be painted should be dry and free from grease and dust.

Uses:

Berger Water Based Primer has been designed for use on cement render concrete, lime plaster, asbestos cement sheets and all other surfaces which require sealing against moisture or alkaline substrate. It can be applied on interior and exterior surfaces.

Surface Preparation:

Before application of Berger Water Based Primer, it is essential that the surface to be painted should be dry and free from grease and dust.

Application Procedure:

Berger Water Based Primer can be applied by thinning (1:1) with water by volume for brush application (depend on surface absorbency). For better results apply two coats of Berger Water Based Primer.

For previously painted old surfaces, remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing with a suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush.

To smoothen the surface, Berger Wall Putty can be applied after the application of Berger Water Based Primer.

Drying time:

Berger Water Based Primer dries within an hour and can be recoated after 2-3 hours.

Coverage:

It covers 16-18 m2 per litre per coat (depends upon the absorbency of the surface).

Packaging:

It is available in3.64 and 14.56 Litre pack size.

Safety Precautions:

The container should be protected from extreme hot and cold temperature. It should be properly closed and kept in an upright position after use. In case of contact with eyes rinse with water and seek medical advice.

DUXBAK

Scope:

Duxbak Water Repellent is a clear repellent for unpainted masonry surfaces. It penetrates deeply but permits the surface to breathe. Do not apply over glossy finish. It is impervious to moisture penetration.

Application:

Apply DUXBAK in dry weather as approximately 16 hours are required for curing. If the surface becomes wet during this period, effectiveness of the treatment may be impaired. Apply by flooding the surface using a wide brush to cause run down of about 12 inches. This will ensure good impregnation. Duxbak may also be applied by conventional spray at lowest possible pressure.

Coverage:

2 to 4 m2 per litre per coat depending on the porosity of the surface.

It is available in 3.64 litres.

SYNTHETIC UNDERCOAT

Scope:

Synthetic Under Coat is a solvent based undercoating for interiors and exteriors (wood surfaces).

Application:

Apply with brush or spray. It is ready for use for brush application. If required, mineral or genuine turpentine may be added for thinning.

Coverage:

Approx. 10 to12 m2 per litre per coat, depending on the porosity of surface.

Packaging:

It is available in 0.91 & 3.64 litres.

SYNTHETIC CLEAR VARNISH

Scope

Synthetic Clear Varnish is a top-quality Alkyd varnish. It has maximum spread and is excellent for making putty.

Uses

Synthetic Clear Varnish can be used on interior surfaces, where a high-gloss varnish of utmost durability is required.

Surface Preparation

Apply the varnish in good drying conditions as free from dust as possible. Synthetic Clear Varnish may be applied coat on coat. However, before the second coat is applied, the first coat should be allowed to dry thoroughly. When re-varnishing, clean and rub down previous varnish coats. Old perished varnish should be stripped with paint stripper.

Application Procedure

Synthetic Clear Varnish can be applied ready for use with brush. For spray, it can be thinned as necessary with mineral or genuine turpentine.

Drying Time

Synthetic Clear Varnish dries in 3 to 6 hours and is re-coatable after 16 hours.

Coverage

Synthetic Clear Varnish spreads 13 to 16 m2 per litre per coat, depending on porosity of the surface.

Synthetic Clear Varnish is available in 3 litres and 750 ml pack sizes

BERGER WALL PUTTY

Scope:

BERGER Wall Putty is a ready-to-use high quality putty, which forms a smooth finish. Wall Putty should be used on interior walls only. It is designed for use on cement surfaces, chipboard, plywood, etc.

Application:

BERGER Wall Putty is a ready-to-use product which, after application. should be sand-papered to a smooth finish.

Coverage:

Covers 5 to 7 m2 per kg per coat.

Packaging:

It is available in 6 & 20 kg packs.

RED OXIDE PRIMER

Scope:

Red Oxide Primer is an anti-corrosive primer for prepared surfaces. Surface must be clean from scales, rust, oil and grease.

Application:

Apply with brush directly from the can. If necessary, mineral turpentine may be added for thinning.

Coverage:

10 to 12 m2 per litre per coat on a smooth non-absorbent surface.

Packaging:

It is available in 0.91 & 3.64 litres.

PLASTRON WALL PRIMER

Scope:

Plastron Wall Primer Sealer holds back alkali and moisture in new plaster. It is ready for use; however, if required, mineral turpentine may be mixed with it but should not exceed 1 litre (1000 c.c.) per 4 litres.

Application:

Apply two coats on plaster or rough cement render under 3 months old. Apply second coat without thinning.
